Wedding decor?

Anyone have any neat ideas for fall country wedding decor. We’re getting in an old horse stable and we’re looking for the rustic theme. Also, what should we do for favors?

haystacks, indian corn with corn stalks rounded up and tied together. rustic lanterns with votive candles inside. If you have a Michaels craft store or Old Time Pottery store in your area, they should have tons of stuff for you. Check out Party City as well.

Well rustic and fall are synonymous with deep woods, browns and perhaps a splash of burnt orange and ivory. That sounds so lovely! Favors should be something that represents you and your fiance or something to remind your guest of the day – so why not keep with the rustic theme. I can’t tell you what that is specifically, but you’ll know it when you see it.

I would find artificial leaves in the fall colors.. You know how people use artificial petals. They have to have fall colored artificial leaves. That would be gorgeous to accent tables with for the reception!

I think you should incorporate lots of fall colors like browns, reds, and oranges. Get some fall colored leaves to decorate. Use fall fruit within your centerpieces. Maybe you can even give everyone a mini pumkin and use these as place cards also. Assuming your wedding is going to be in the fall (which is also around Halloween) have a candy buffet for the favors. You can have candy corn, mini candy bars, carmel apples, stuff like that. It would be great plus anything consumable for the favors makes a lot of guests happy.

Old fashioned copper lanterns would look great. If you can’t find affordable lanterns, look for small old buckets and fill with water and floating candles.
You could also decorate with horshoe shapes, using twine and garlands.
Use apples for decorations, too – they can be used for all kinds of things.
